TPI Titleist Performance Institute

Fitness is essential to success in golf at both the professional and amateur levels. Recognizing this, Titliest has led the way in golf training with the Titliest Performance Institute (commonly referred to as TPI).

Physical limitations are in direct relation to golf swing faults. However, any limitation can be improved using precise conditioning, which is where the science behind TPI is used. A golfer who wants to improve their game is tested using a 12-point fitness screen designed to find a golfer’s physical limitations and then our specialized personal trainers provide a plan to improve those areas with a customized golf specific exercise program.

Examples of some of the exercises include:

Most TPI corrective exercises require little equipment and can be done every day. These corrective exercises help increase range of motion and flexibility, so ultimately golfers have more control over their swing and even feel better off the course.

Body Within has the only two certified TPI golf fitness instructors in Livingston County. Both personal trainers hold the second level of fitness certifications and the junior certification from TPI. Our advanced golf training will identify problem areas and correct specific weaknesses. Now amateur players, like the professionals, can take advantage of simple, corrective exercises that are required for real improvements their golf swing.

If you are interested in learning more about the TPI program visit the Titleist Performance Institute website. As professional personal trainers we take you through TPI’s golf-specific physical evaluations and design you a custom golf workout.
